We deffo need help aswell. Not used any products on her hair because some people say yes use products and some say no. This was before washing it. Her hair looks dry and not nice and soft.

try rubber bands hairstyles mommy,i find them cute and less time consuming. We use native child products very gentle on the scalp and keeps the hair moisturized..all the best you"ve got this!!!

Hey Mama you’re doing a great job! 🥰Sometimes let the hair lose especially in between braiding. Also try and find a kiddies hair salon near you that specialises in natural hair, while they do her hair ask them for tips and tricks that will assist you when you’re doing her hair. Also follow content creators that talk all things Afro. ❤️

Hi, Ben & Betty with wool is the best. Wet hair, apply detangled. Detangle and twist the hair in sections.Dont detangle the hair when you shampoo and condition. Apply leave in conditioner and Shea butter to wet hair after shampoo. Don't hair dry comb and plait wet. For maintenance spray water and seal with oil. Check out Ruutos products. See my girls hair. I did their hair at home until they were 8 yrs .They are 12 & 13 and I still plait them with wool in between the salon appointments

I know it may feel boring to wear/do the same styles over and over again… but the ones you’ve shown (no hair extensions) are age appropriate and good for hair growth. Just keep the hair moisturised, do hair treatments (including deep conditioning) when the hair is undone. You’re doing great 💕💕
