I used to think freedom would look like a bigger paycheck. Turns out, it looks a lot more like ice cream at 1 PM on a Wednesday with my girls. 🤍 There was a time when a random Wednesday afternoon belonged to my job. I was working hard, doing what I thought I was supposed to do, and missing ordinary moments with my babies because that was just “real life.” And maybe that’s where you are right now. You’re grateful. You love your family. But deep down, you’re tired of every weekday being dictated by someone else’s schedule. That was me. I wasn’t praying for a flashy life. I was praying for more time. More peace. More yeses with my kids. More moments where I didn’t have to check the clock or my bank account first. What I found was that I didn’t need to work harder. I needed to learn different skills, create different options, and trust God enough to walk through a door that scared me.
