yeah no… everyone’s different and there’s no set timeline for any of us… yeah some people know what they want to pursue before they even start highschool and some people take their time to figure it out and that’s okay. not everyone has to do everything like everyone else! i’m going to be 22 soon and i still don’t really know what i want in a career… sure i have back up options but i also have high standards for myself and want something fulfilling and happy and to not rush into things and enjoy my youth… your friend can have the standards for herself but it’s inconsiderate to judge others for taking their time with it

I’ve come across plenty of doctors, surgeons, lawyers and CEO’s who didn’t earn those titles until they 30’s-50’s . She has to be young and naive
