People are so quick to shout death penalty without looking at the evidence or the facts of the case. You’re so ready and willing to kill someone with such little knowledge of what really happened. It’s so important to look at the evidence because many people have been wrongfully convicted for crimes that they did not commit or for crimes that result from a cocktail of events that don’t put them on the same plane as someone who is “sane.” just take a beat and look at the facts and see if you can say based on the evidence (not based on hearsay) whether or not she is solely responsible for this crime. There is so much reasonable doubt of you break down the evidence. Where is your actual humanity to be careful about yet another person’s life? She was not an evil person before this incident and no one has anything bad to say about her. She sought help, she called the suicidal hotline, she called 911, she kept records, she asked for help from her family and friends and doctors, she advocated for herself - she did so much to try and get help and she was having a really hard time. She is not an evil person who craves doing evil things, her own thoughts or self harm horrified her. Mental health is so complicated, and you need to have discernment in your judgement. Take care to get all the facts of the case and see if it makes sense and have a compassionate heart instead of calling everyone with an opposing view point an idiot. This is such a delicate and important case. You guys don’t have the same energy for s*x offenders and for animal abusers and dv abusers who cause immeasurable harm without an iota of remorse.
