I work with kids that have special needs I would like to buy savly a backpack for when you’re ready to let her eat on the go. Would you be ok with that. It’s a back pack that holds the pump and bag of food that she will wear while she is eating so she can walk or play while eating please let me know

It will smell like puke, that’s normal. If it’s leaking often though, make sure you clean it, dry it or let it air dry, then apply desitin or calmoseptine around the site so when it leaks again it can protect the skin. Over that put a split gauze, tape it so it doesn’t come undone. Change this every time you notice it is saturated, the stomach content will start to irritate her skin so you want to get ahead of that.

G-Tube momma here sometimes they start to leak from being hit or pulled on or they just leak a little bit you can order Mepilex online but you can also call GI and have them place an order for it and you cut it into little squares and cut a little piece in the middle to put it around the button so if her belly leaks it doesn’t irrate her skin from the stomach acid. They also have stoma powder as well that you could use if it were to get that bad and you shouldn’t have to do it often but you can always check the water in the ballon to make sure she has the correct amount because overtime sometimes it gets a little low.

When bleaching hair leave a gap of about 3inchs from the roots and do the roots 5/10mins after the hair has processed as the roots process faster as heat comes from the scalp and your get hot roots which is what’s happened to your mums hair.
