@btcbeyondthecase: In 1991, Gregory Green murdered his pregnant wife, Tonya Clayton Green. He served only 16 years in prison. After his release, he married Faith Green. Years later, Faith found herself trapped in another abusive relationship with a man whose violent history she says she did not fully understand. In September 2016, as Faith was trying to leave the marriage, Green attacked her inside their Dearborn Heights, Michigan home. He cut her face with a box cutter, shot her in the foot, and restrained her with duct tape and zip ties. Then he murdered her four children. 17-year-old Kara and 19-year-old Chadney were shot in front of their mother. Green’s two young daughters, 5-year-old Koi and 4-year-old Kaleigh, were killed using carbon monoxide. Faith survived. Gregory Green later pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 45–100 years in prison, meaning he would be about 97 before becoming eligible for parole. But one question continues to haunt this case: How did a man who had already murdered his pregnant wife ever get the chance to build another family?
