When I was 23 I was diagnosed with pancreatitis which would EVENTUALLY be considered idiopathic by the doctors. I had to look about five stern and unconvinced doctors in the eyes and insist repeatedly that I wasn't a chronic heavy drinker. It was so frustrating. I felt like I was going to flip out.

I can tell you it’s excruciating spent a week n half in the hospital!! Just put the alcohol away. 296 days sober here

thanks for making this..sadly I'm one of them who has chronic pancreatitis because of my drinking. I'm now medicated with creon which I have to take every time I eat. the pain when it flares up is unbearable 💔

That happened to me and it made me quit for good. It was 11/10 pain. I was literally yelling in the ER and it was so embarrassing and the pain meds didn’t even help 😞 I would literally do anything to never feel that pain again.

It' the most painful thing i have felt. In and out of hospital with it for years. I got admitted for the last time back in December and stopped drinking now. The last time I was there scared the hell out of me the pain meds did nothing for me.
