If you are sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Destiny I HIGHLY suggest as soon as you get on board you check to see what the times are for this show that takes place in the Saga Lounge! I LOVE finding a good Maleficent in any Disney experience. It really does take a very strong character actor to handle such a role because she is so facial feature based while remaining elegantly cunning when you’re doing something like bringing random cruisers on stage - ANYTHING can happen or be said so keeping the character integrity of Maleficent I find to be absolutely fascinating and the person playing her was PHENOMENAL! My biggest piece of advice for this if you choose to stay for the photo-op - SIT FRONT ROW! They release each row for the photo-op and the Saga Lounge is 4 rows deep! With a packed house it could take upwards of 30+ mins to finally get your row called because she does give every person a good 1-2 minutes of banter before the photos are taken so keep all of this in mind! The show also only happens maybe 3x total during a 3 day sailing so check your Disney Cruise Line app on your Embarkation day to make sure you give it a “💚” so you get the notification of the next showing! #disneycruise #disneydestiny #maleficent #cruise #DCL
