I’m trying to hold my tears back 😭 my last child starts reception tomorrow and I’m not ready for it at all and it breaking my heart 😭 these summer holidays have been tough knowing it’s his last one of being little before he starts to grow up and come more independent. It has hurt me watching him come a little more independent each day over these summer holidays.

oh my this will be me next year, I struggled with just him going to nursery for 5 hours on his first day, balled my eyes out not looking forward to next year 4 years old feels too young in my opinion for them starting school 😢, I feel you x

It certainly hit different it being your last. All their firsts are all our lasts 🥺 My little has been in nursery for the past 2 years so has gotten used to not being with me all the time. But starting proper school just hits differently. I know he’s going to be fine but a tiny piece of me is breaking knowing that he isn’t a baby anymore.
