it makes me feel connected so much more. ppl were just ppl like today, no different at all, just different fashion. Sounds silly. the black and white always makes us feel as if its some distant unreal reality but these photos that could have been taken today!

I think the sunset gets me the most. It’s something about how whatever we do (for at least a very long time) the sun rises and sets and the world goes on, it did in 1913 and it will do tomorrow

I’m taking pictures of the sunrise and sunset at every chance I get, and knowing people were still finding joy in that over 100 years ago is just.. such a beautiful feeling. We’re all just experiencing being human together 🩵

It’s really interesting how less glamorous they look in full color. They have normal, everyday faces and in some ways weren’t even very attractive. I always wondered why earlier people had clearer skin and nicer faces. I guess they didn’t.
