@lymph.with.chick: That lower swelling after lipo can definitely catch you off guard 😳 As swelling starts to come down in the abdomen, gravity can cause fluid to settle lower including the mons/pubic area. It can look VERY puffy and make you wonder what the heck is happening. 😭 This is one of the reasons proper compression, movement, hydration, and lymphatic drainage can be such an important part of post-op recovery.
