@seeandsavethedogs: 🎉UPDATE: Adopted! 🎉 🚨Sweet Emjay needs safe exit by 9/1 EOD or she will be euthanized at North Central LA shelter💔 3-year-old girl, Emjay, arrived last month covered in wounds from a life we know nothing about. Initially timid and unsure, this precious girl has blossomed into a sweet, happy dog who is so deserving of a home! She loves affection and has a puppy-like energy that is just starting to come out. She’s a smart girl who is learning her basic commands. In playgroup with other dogs, Emjay can be selective and keep to self, but mingles and gives appropriate corrections. Slow introductions are always recommended with other pets. Unfortunately, the stress of the shelter is getting to Emjay and she’s been declining in her kennel without regular enrichment (she was also mistakenly put on a 2 week hold during which she could not leave her kennel). She’s been barking a lot and has lost weight, despite being on extra feedings. She needs to get out of a kennel and into a real home!
