Even if this is satire I pray that no mamas get any ideas from this video. Your baby will 100% would go into hypothermic shock as there is not way this water is anywhere closed to 98 degrees. You CANNOT resuscitate a cold baby. Your baby would die.

Hi emt here, please dont give birth in a chlorinated pool. While most birthing pools have a very low level of chlorine for sterilization, a standard pool has wayyy too much. Babies born in water have what’s called a “diving reflex” where they do not breathe instantly and will inhale whatever is around them. Meaning they will ingest the chemicals.

Not sure a birthing tub is a good idea. When that child comes out, it will be looking for a gulp of fresh air, not water. I would rethink that one.

Yeah this isn’t happening. Chemicals, temperature, cleanliness. All these things are important and not optimal for birth in a backyard pool.
