this is how my parents acted, took my door for no reason, didn't let us go to school, never took us to the doctor, dentist, etc. I had 0 friends and moved in with my online boyfriend and I'm getting a job, saw a doctor, trying to figure out how to make iel friends, etc. I'm so much happier.

Haha I remember having this happen as a kid, you don't get to ask me to act like an adult while treating me as a child, and I was very big in the 1:1 ratio treatment, so I took every door in the house while my parents were at work the day after since it was a saturday, hid them at a friends house whos parents were actually cool. My price for returning them was putting my door back, and they had to buy a new one since they fully got rid of it. They taught me from a young age, do unto others as you want done to yourself, great lesson, so I did exactly that. Imagine my surprise to see they were not happy about it, but that's fine, because neither was I, same boat.
