For me, within about 24 hours. That constant thinking about food quieted down. When did weight change? Slow and steady — about ½ to 1 pound per week. My clothes fit differently long before the scale really moved. Did you ever think you’d be doing this for weight loss? Honestly, no. Weight loss wasn’t the main reason I started — although I was quietly hoping to lose those last 5–10 pounds. Is this forever? I don’t know yet.
