She has a calm, shy nature and, with the right environment, we believe she will continue to grow in confidence. Koko can be cautious with people she doesn’t know. When unfamiliar people visit the pansion, she may move away or growl because she feels unsure. This is fear and distrust rather than aggression. She does not try to attack or bite and instead creates distance when uncomfortable. With people she knows and trusts, Koko loves strokes, cuddles and one-to-one attention. She can be a little jealous when other dogs receive attention, so we feel she would be happiest as the only dog in her forever home. 📖 Koko’s Story 📖 Koko was found living on the streets as a young pup, where she was sadly being attacked by other street dogs. She was then taken to live on somebody’s land, which has since been sold from beneath her, leaving Koko and multiple other dogs abandoned. Thankfully, space was secured at the pansion and the dogs were moved to safety in May 2026. Since arriving, Koko has made wonderful progress and is becoming more trusting with those she knows. Koko also has a slightly crooked right leg. This causes her absolutely no problems. She walks normally and it does not affect her quality of life. Now Koko is ready for a quiet forever home with kind, patient people who will let her trust develop naturally. Once she feels safe, she has so much love and affection to give.
