Gray water is in a camper. Gray water is kitchen sink, shower etc. black water is poop from comode Your house does not have gray water.. it all goes to you septic tank.

Ammonia in fertilizer and ammonia in urine are made of different compounds. Ammonia for fertilizer has a stable, controlled amount of ammonia while urine is a unstable amount. Thats why sometimes pee kills grass and sometimes it doesn't.

As someone who built their own house, it all comes through the same pipes. I'd say your filtering system/the metal that your faucets are made of is what changes the taste.

Gravity+ divider walls separates heavier and lighter (ie oils) fractions of your waste water this is how the bacteria have more time to do their job with the "richer", more nutriious fraction and the cleaner fraction of wastewater can leave the septic tank sooner.

Gray water is water that leaves your sink or tub drains. Your toilet is black water. But they do go down the same pipe. As far as I know This usually refers to things like campers

so your septic is rated for your house meaning it depends on how many bedrooms you to how big it is. I cant remember the name of the stuff you can put in your toilet when you flush that helps break down the solids in the septic. Its recommended to have it pumped every 3-5 yrs and if there is higher water usage do it more often.

Gray water is like and travel thing. RV and Van. It’s like dirty water from sink and bathroom after washing. Where is black water is pee and poo mix. Some places allow grey water dump or even diluted pee dump. however, obviously you can’t dump black water anywhere but a dump site becuase that’s just sewage.

Gray water is like dishwater, laundry water, and bath water…black water is sewage from the toilet. Both should go into the septic system/sewer system. The water coming in is called tap water.
