My passport and also my resident permit are about to expire and I’m having a mental breakdown because of the stress and cost that I will face. I haven’t seen my family in 3 years and I can’t even afford it because of the cost. Now I’m about applying for visas for some countries and I’m not even sure I’m ready for the stress. However, will I stop? Never. Why ? Because I know that there’s more to see in the world

passports are a relic of the past.. with all the technological advancement we've had we're well equipped to have some sort of an individualized system for each person on earth that safely, easily and with much more precision than the visa/passports paradigm predict and assess someone's ability to be allowed or denied entrance to and from anywhere .. not every European or American is an ideal traveler just like not every say ghanian or Indonesian is a risky Traveller a dynamic system would make much more sense in this case then relying on a hard fact like where you were born as a strating base to decide whether or not you should waste your time and energy and money to be potentially denied entrance for whatever some visa officer think is a compelling reason or to easily be granted access because your by default not deemed a risky Traveller
