Many people in the hyper mobile community are experiencing this, especially after the ‘vid or an illness like mono. Research ehlers danlos shutdown syndrome. It messes up your nervous system too, so the more you can practice PTSD recovery stuff and calming your nervous system through out the day, it will help. Nervous system is in fight or flight all day which contributes huge to the exhaustion. Not necessarily recommending meds, but the only thing that has helped me be ‘functional’ is an SSRI that is an ‘activator’ rather than a depressant. If I’m not in it, I can barely get from my bedroom to the kitchen. With it I’m not the same, but I can do about everything I need to as a mom and work full time. I can hike a little too, but not as far.

it took my mother-in-law's 2 years to get diagnosed with myasthenia gravis. she lost the use of her legs too. getting diagnosed is A hard road and I'm sorry she has to go through it.
