the radiology field is oversaturated now, thats why i switched to lab sciences, theres a demand for that right now and no one knows about the more niche lab fields like histology, ihc labs, toxicology. smaller programs but less people applying cause alot of people just go for MLS. the program directors for my program and the lab assistant jobs i applied to were surprised i knew about histology at all because not many people research other lab jobs.

I applied to every ultrasound program within a 5 hour drive radius of me 😭😭 got in to multiple then picked whichever is the cheapest. I graduate with an ultrasonography bachelors degree in May :)

dude. tell me about it. if you don't have straight a's & a bachelor's in an adjacent field or interesting relevant experience do not bother. it's such a long & tedious process and the chances of not getting in are so high. so shocked i got in

i just got into a program that had over 120 applicants and only 10 clinical spots (plus two alternates) on my first try (& i’m not an alternate) which is probably the biggest accomplishment of my entire life LMAO

Same 🤣🤣 my program only accepts 8… out of 300 something applicants they only invited 50 people to interview. I was one of the 50 and as soon as they said 8 seats I thought welp should’ve gotten a 4.0 instead of a 3.7 GPA 🤣🤣
