Turning anchor authorization ON !

The minute I turned on my anchor authorization I did start making sales because brands were running my videos as ads. It’s basically like giving your spark code to a brand.

IamTheeTea | TikTok Shop + UGC :
Anchor authorization allows a brand to replace your TikTok Shop affiliate link with their own website, lead generation form, or app download link. Since this link is no longer a TikTok Shop product link, you won’t earn the standard or ad commission on sales from that video. Key points: • Anchor authorization = no commission (unless the brand explicitly pays you for the lead/website click, which is rare). • Ad authorization (allowing brands to boost your video as a Spark Ad) can still earn you commission (but at the brand’s ad rate, which may be lower than standard). So, if your goal is to earn affiliate commissions, it’s best to keep anchor authorization OFF unless a brand is paying you directly for the use of your video.

so my thing with anchor auth and turning it off was so a dishonest brand or store couldn't swap the link and jack my commission. this is definitely interesting

Following. I burned out and haven’t made a video in months because I’ve only ALMOST gone silver ONCE in 2 years and I missed it by $7. I just started posting again.
