Buying the minimum required hardware setup (an 8-way NVIDIA B200 / GB200 enterprise configuration) on the open market today, it costs roughly $300,000 to $400,000+ just for the server nodes (or around $250 to $300 an hour to rent on cloud clusters). Your electric bill alone would fund a small space program.
