My nephew went there last year on vacation. He brought me back a chunk of the coliseum, I have that in my display cabinet. I think it's illegal LOL, but I have a chunk of History, who cares [Tears of joy]

I visited the colosseum a few years ago for the first time, you can’t help but think of the history that happened there and the fact it’s still standing for all these years and the fact it probably still could be used as a battle arena with the right technology is actually pretty symbolic. It’s humbling.

I had a cookbook that said that they dug up olive pits at the Colosseum because apparently like we snack on popcorn they ate olives. I don’t know why I found that so fascinating…

I thought they had made plans to restore this monument. Those deeps caverns we see now, we're once covered in magical engineering ✨️ways. Coverts for the massive amounts of water needed for projects. The animal paddocks, multi leveled. Fix it, would be interesting to see as in entertainment manners
