@pulseperfectmd: Which heart risk marker matters most? ApoB, Lp(a), LDL-C, HDL-C and hs-CRP don’t all tell us the same thing. Here’s how I rank them—and why a “normal” cholesterol panel may not tell the whole story. #ApoB #LpA #Cholesterol #LDL #HeartHealth

Triglycerides, HDL and Hba1c will be able to tell you whether you are insulin resistant when LDL is elevated. Apo B and Lp(a) just a waste of money

My cardiologist refuses to do all the tests that I asked him for! I’m not mistaken. There’s like 10 blood tests that I requested and he refused to do it! He also refused to do a CTA or CCTA on me saying that a nuclear stress test that’s normal doesn’t require me to do that but I have a calcium score of 662 in LDL of 108.

high hdl (60) and low triglycerides (below 70) means high excellent metabolic conditions, low insulin resistance and good glucose control and inflammation! thats uour main numbers to watch. a ratio of triglycerides/hdl of greater than 2 is not good

Recent research from institutions like Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has revealed that the very initial onset of coronary heart disease is driven by cellular metabolism and communication changes, occurring before classic inflammatory signals appear
