@colorofchange1: When a Black person dies, gets arrested, or becomes the center of a breaking story, suddenly it’s not about what happened. It’s about their past. Their family. Their friends. Rumors. Speculation. Anything to pull attention away from the facts. That’s the character assassination playbook. And we’re taking the mask off of it. We’ve seen the same tactics again and again: attack the victim, harass their family, spread lies, manufacture “evidence,” and let unanswered questions get buried under a mountain of noise. Distraction becomes a weapon. We’re not falling for it. Call out the lies. Question the narrative. Keep demanding answers.
