Former Disney employee here. The way the tickets work at Disney for employees is that the employee has to scan their pass and fingerprint first before the guest passes will work. I bet they just issued her an extra guest pass, but neither Shonda nor the ABC executive understood how the passes work. It is kinda odd for her to call an ABC executive to ask for a special favor to get a $150 ticket. Then that executive needs to call an executive or upper management over the parks to get that done. Wasting the time of multiple highly paid, busy people because you didn't want to spend $150 of your hundreds of millions.
