I would disagree, while yes deku is a hero and I would put him at number one in anime not fiction because Spider-Man who is a better representation of heroism and more inspirational has been solving real life problems and giving people the courage to act and do something to help people for example like that guy who dressed as spiderman to fight and attack Jake lang who was a known racist and the Greenville waterfall incident who people call the Greenville spiderman saved people in a spiderman costume because they were going to fall and die and the Arkansas traffic dash in July 2026 saved a man in a wheelchair who also could have died and he quoted aunt may as his inspiration as well and now for the comics not movies and the first one is Peter getting buried alive and refusing to give up in the amazing spiderman #33 and where he lost the love of his life Gwen Stacy who he accidentally killed trying to save her from the green goblin only for him to spare the green goblins life afterwards despite how angry and rageful he was and still remained a hero and the ultimate spiderman comic where Peter took a bullet meant for Captain America and fought the sinister six to protect his neighborhood and aunt may and defeated the green goblin in the end which costed him is life in the end and he was only 16 years old and for the last one which is the spiderman no more comic where he chose heroism over a perfect life and he was suffering from the press and failing grades and financial ruin and aunt May was declining in health and actually quit in that moment which made spidermans life easier but until he saw a innocent person in danger so he knowingly put the spiderman costume back on abandoning his own happiness and choosing a life of poverty and misery just to save others so the only person I would put above spiderman is the embodiment of heroism known as Superman who inspired soldiers from world war 2 and prevented millions of people from taking their own lives due to the comic where talked to a girl and convinced her to not take her own life by using words only and he inspired millions of immigrants and means a lot to them and superman even fought against The KKK
