Have you read the Marlow Murder Club? Female sleuths/besties, Retired archeologist, an empty nester and a vicar’s wife. Set in Marlow, England. They’ve made a TV series, available on Masterpiece. So cozy, and so good.

I want to recommend The Vampire Knitting Club series ☺️- set in Oxford, England - main character inherits a yarn shop when her grandmother dies - lots of heartfelt community and chosen family

If 1920s, sassy & strong FMC, murder mystery series sounds interesting - the Saffron Everleigh series by Kate Khavari is top notch! And the audiobooks are great as well!
