What happens after a hung jury? Does a new trial ensue? Do they try to offer a plea to her or do they just retry her? If they re-tri her, do they get to bring in or do a whole new investigation with maybe some new people being investigated?

What if it’s just the not guilty or not guilty by reason of insanity that they’re hung up on? Can the judge make that decision or it’s still a mistrial?
