🍃🚬annalise💨 :
when i was 14, I told my teacher at school about my dad raping me every weekend I'd see him since I was 5. they called my mum in and she got there in under 5 minutes when the school was a 20 minute walk away. she was terrified, she sat down next to me while hugging me not knowing what was going ti be said, the teacher said "Annalise has been experiencing sexual assault from her dad since she was 5, the last time he raped her it was last weekend" and I'd never heard my mother cry so hard in her life, she held me tight while sobbing, it was one of those gut wrenching sobs that shook ur entire body, on that day I realized I wasn't alone in what I was going through, we told police, but they called us the next day saying there wasn't enough evidence and I broke down, since that day, knowing my father would be free, I no longer see him now but he pain of knowing he's living happily while I'm suffering with ptsd, depression and suicidal thoughts and self harm because of him, life isn't fair, I tried taking my life when I was 16, my mum found me on the bathroom floor, I almost did die. I was rushed to hospital and unfortunately made it, barely. I'm 18 now, I still get suicidal thoughts but I have a boyfriend who treats me perfectly, ive overcome the worst moments of my life but Im still struggling, but I'm fighting through it, after thinking there was no point in living I wake up with a purpose, being a good big sister to my younger siblings and being a good girlfriend too. thats what keeps me going, to anyone reading this who feels like shit, thinking life is pointless, that no one loves you, I promise someone out there does, you just haven't met them yet. even when life feels like shit, or when you dread waking up in the morning, remember someone out there loves you. your special, and another thing, if you have a reason to write notes, you have a reason to stay alive. 🫶
