Depending on what you're MRI is for you might not be able to get out. I know when I was having MRIs on my back I couldn't lay down on my own to get in the MRI let alone try to get out. I would however start screaming my lungs out after not hearing anyone for long. All my MRIs I was checked on every 5 minutes or so to make sure I was ok.

so he was found at 6 in the morning do the mri was at midnight? 😯 That only happens for emergency scans you'd expect someone to start looking for the missing patient or something 😅

I have to have meds for MRI, I’m to claustrophobic, so I would’ve been out in like minutes, no joke. How could he lay on that hard table that long? I have hardware in my lower back, I can barely get through the 45min one for my MS once a year. It just hurts my back. That’s awful 😞

My worst nightmare. I get mri’s regularly because I have MS but they sedate me verrrrry deep because I have severe claustrophobia 😅😅😅

It depends on if I have IV in me. I’ve been in an MRI at Max two hours once for hydrocephalus-related scanning with my shunts. They usually give you a button to press to communicate with them. If I don’t hear anything then 15 or 20 minutes. I’d probably start question something.

while doing an MRI last June the machine broke and the tech wasn’t there so I stayed inside for 90 minutes 😬 it was ok I was practically asleep

That is my real fear. The person accompanying me promised I wouldn’t be alone. I was completely immobilized. I waited 8 minutes after the machine stopped before I screamed like I was being murdered. I was told I could be heard five floors above me at UW Wisconsin. Other than that I had a mostly stellar 39 day experience. Next time, lorazepam.
