If you’re going to Spain, I’m telling you now — DO NOT come home without having a proper look around the Mercadona beauty aisles 👀🇪🇸 I found another Mercadona with much more stock, so obviously we had to investigate 😂 Haircare that looks VERY familiar if you know your Olaplex, perfumes with scents you’ll recognise from some considerably more expensive fragrance counters, makeup, body creams, skincare… there are bargains EVERYWHERE. The perfumes absolutely fascinate me. Go in, spray the testers and see which ones YOU recognise — because we’re talking around €7–€12 for some of these fragrances. Then there’s the makeup… Mascaras around €4.50 with some very familiar-looking inspiration 👀 Eye and lip pencils around €2.50 — although finding those actually IN STOCK seems to be another matter! And the one that really got me was the hydrating liquid. I recently bought the e.l.f. version for around £15… Mercadona’s is about €5. 😳 This is exactly why I love doing a Mercadona beauty rummage. You go in for one thing and suddenly you’re standing at the till wondering how an entire beauty department fell into your basket 😂 If you’re in Spain NOW, save this and get yourself into a Mercadona BEFORE YOU COME HOME.
