@glazyhenceramics: I made a chicken maraca with painted babies that you can see through a window! This lovely chicken maraca was part of my summer collection, which has only 11 items left (shop the remaining pieces via the link in my bio!). I will be making more bird maracas shortly- someone suggested a heart window, and I love that idea! I want to make some different birds next- which birds do you suggest? I think Gambel’s quail would be so adorable! Young ones actually have a little head feather, so that will be such a cute “mamaraca”.
