@dailyplugusa: Here's everything that happened in the United States today. President Trump announced that the United States is launching large and powerful military strikes on Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz, warning Tehran that the Islamic Republic could be totally wiped out if they retaliate. The United States House of Representatives voted to pass a crucial three-month government funding bill, successfully preventing a partial federal government shutdown from taking place right before the upcoming high-stakes midterm elections. Thirty-two-year-old Bank of America Vice President Erin Piacenti was identified as the victim killed during a random, unprovoked Times Square stabbing spree before responding New York police officers fatally shot the female assailant. A whistleblower warned that a newly ordered United States Postal Service mail ballot vetting system is highly likely to cause major structural disruptions and mail delays during the critical upcoming fall election cycle. Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin announced that all Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents operating in the field are officially scheduled to be fully equipped with operational body cameras by late September. A Pennsylvania police officer was officially charged with voluntary manslaughter after fatally shooting a twenty-two-year-old college student who inadvertently waited outside the wrong residential house late at night for his friends. Digital navigation platform MapQuest experienced a massive surge on United States app stores after openly refusing to alter Lake Ontario's traditional name to Lake America following President Trump's recent executive renaming order. #USnews #NewsUpdate #BreakingNews #newsfeed #news

They have gotten way too comfortable with these shutdowns. I bet we never have one again if they start sending people to prison for shutting down the government. It is their fault every time the govt shuts down, so why not give them the incentive to never dream of shutting the government down? We need to start holding bad actors in positions of power accountable. The people who disagree, have motivation to disagree, son. It turned my stomach when DJ-OrangeJuice-Trump acted like it was okay to expect people to come to work for months while not being compensated.
