Totally let crp get grazed. Makes way more sense than making us mow or light disk.

At this point the cattlemen needs to be paid to keep a heifer thur till they calve.. as u know the cow herd is gaining age .. somehow the government thinks the entire cow herd was bred heifers’s when this started

on the row crop claws turning it into grass
AJ did they specify irrigated row crop into the grass program or just row crop.
cuz you're exactly right we have CRP what benefit costly with no benefit you're absolutely right but if they go to irrigated crop land to irrigated grass then we have a standard against drought
who knows we've got a people behind the desk that's not in the field making decisions your guess is good as mine just a question from me to you

A tax credit for how many heifers you have would’ve been a better answer. Even though that has a ton of flaws. Better than the BRAND solution.

Mr. Fritzer :
I suppose they want to have people put crop ground back to Pasture. We already have grassland CRP for that as well however, this payment rate if it's the way it suggest will be far more than CRP payments or grass CRP. I think in my area this could be a good thing for sure. There's a lot of people that have put pivots on sugar sand that probably should never have been farmed in my opinion, would be incentive to put it back to the native grass.

what do you think the market will do for all classes of cattle go down or go back up as more feeder cattle come in like the fat cattle are down to 2.24 but bulls are still up to 2.30 to 2.40

Why is it always subsidies and interference instead of simple things like getting diesel down, allowing crp grazing, permitting more local butchers, changing NFTA etc
