If you’re visiting Glasgow, these are three places I’d always recommend. First, head to Pollok Country Park. It’s one of my favourite places to walk Toby, visit the Highland cows and enjoy a bit of nature without leaving the city. You’ll also find the Burrell Collection, a lovely café and one of Glasgow’s best play parks, making it a great spot for families. Pollok House is currently closed for renovation, but it’s due to reopen later this year. Next, grab a coffee from @neka_southside in Shawlands. It’s one of my favourite cafés in the city, with amazing coffee, delicious pastries and such a relaxed atmosphere. And if you’re visiting Scotland from further afield, I’d definitely recommend taking the one-hour drive to Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond. It’s one of the prettiest villages in Scotland, with breathtaking views across the loch and peaceful waterfront walks. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even hire a canoe or paddleboard and explore the loch from the water. Afterwards, wander through the village, stop for coffee and cake, or pop into the newly opened distillery. If you have a little extra time, I’d highly recommend treating yourself to a spa day or an overnight stay at @Lodge on Loch Lomond The Lodge on Loch Lomond. It’s one of my favourite affordable luxury escapes, and if you’re lucky enough you might even get a room with an amazing view of the loch. Make sure to Save this if Scotland is on your travel list. Feeling incredibly grateful to be featured in The Sunday Post. A huge thank you to @highlandhighlights_ Lauren for thinking of me and giving me the opportunity to share some of my favourite places in Scotland, it was such a lovely feature to be part of. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
