Okay genuinely no hate whatsoever, but can you give us some context on what goes into a decision like this? You’ve never knit lace before AND you’re on a tight timeline. I can’t imagine how stressful this is in addition to all the wedding planning.

Have you considered getting a pre-made veil and knitting a boarder on it with this? That way it's part handmade whilst less of a time commitment (it will still take forever, just not nearly as long as the whole thing would)

go ahead and get a backup veil just in case. also PLEASE take breaks every 30 minutes, get up and stretch during those breaks, follow ergonomics for knitting, etc. A big project like this with a tight deadline will absolutely fuck up your wrists if you aren't careful, I learned that the hard way.

Google broomstick knitted lace. You use a giant needle for part of it so it works up quickly. 💜
