She is currently at the city shelter and this post will be updated with the correct rescues info once they are safe and tagged. Poor Simone, she looks rough. Judging off her collar she was an outside dog, most likely chained up. She hardly has any teeth and her collar is so stiff I think it needs to be cut off. She was very sweet to me and another volunteer even though that is the last thing I’d expect her to be to humans. I’m not sure if she’s pregnant or her stomach is like that from heartworm disease.
