Fable 5.1 needs to be told to set model for agents, by default it does not, which makes it use fable, and those spin up sub agents which also use fable for stupid stuff 😭

Not sure how people are blowing through usage. The first thing I did was run my current environment through a test. Same ask, two different sessions. One with the legacy Fable desks and an Orchestrator using 5.0 and one with those desks and Orchestrator using 5.1. It’s was considerably cheaper in both time and tokens. Seems like environment setup issue and not a model issue to me.

Yeah it’s not super fire, I got a 20x and it ran through 15% of my weekly in like a half hour of relatively light work. Not using max setting or anything wild either

I made the mistake of not compacting on a nearly maxed out context and it was a 5% of the 5 hour. I compacted - and it went to 10% on the next prompt. 10% of 5 hour in 2 questions on the $200 plan

Every time anthropic releases a new model people complain about it deleting their usage in 2 prompts and then they just continue to use it, switch to codex, the 100 dollar plan has virtually infinite usage lol

I'm having the same usage issues with Opus. I'm on max and my usage is disappearing in 30 minutes doing the same workload I used to not hit the 5 hour limit on at all. My most recent task was to create documentation around my infrastructure so I can give openai a shot.
