The liar Carney is in power, and three trade agreements have been signed:
Indonesia (advantageous for Canada).
Ecuador (relatively balanced).
The UAE (advantageous, more so for the UAE).
And for the rest, there are unsigned agreements or negotiations. This raises the question: Is Carney actually working? For Canada or for his own interests? Carney led Brookfield, and the government allegedly awarded numerous contracts without competitive bidding. If these contracts were indeed awarded without a competitive process, Canadians have the right to demand explanations and transparency.
I am also very eager to see the next federal budget. Hundreds of billions of dollars more in spending and deficits? Carney may be able to lull us to sleep with sweet words, but future generations will have to foot the bill. Accumulating ever-increasing debt without a clear plan to reduce it is irresponsible. The Liberals constantly talk about democracy. Yet, several bills and government measures raise concerns about the privacy, surveillance, and freedom of expression of Canadians. And now, the negotiations with Trump and the United States. For weeks, the government has been trying to resolve the tariff issue. Yet, results are slow in coming. And too often, we look for fault with Trump or the Americans, rather than asking ourselves what our own government could have done differently.
Let's not forget one thing: Carney is the Prime Minister of Canada. It is therefore up to him and his government to defend the interests of Canadians or his own interests.
While billions of dollars are being sent abroad, notably to Ukraine and other countries, many Canadians are struggling to find housing, food, and basic necessities.
And despite all this, you continue to support them. Let's look at the numbers, the results, and the decisions.
Because in the end, it's not Carney who will foot the bill for all these decisions. I'M DEFENDING MY COUNTRY, NOT A CORRUPT PARTY LIKE THE LIBERALS. (ELBOWS UP)
