Glad you reposted because this guy is 100% in the wrong. I wouldn’t tolerate being talked to like that, but I’m also very capable of admitting when a mistake was done. I’ve worked with contractors like him and they’re very excited to get paid but not excited to get the work done right. And it’s so obvious cause he gave you a sample that ofc is perfect when compared to the wall. That sample looks nothing like the finish on the walls.

Greeted them in a calm collective manner, and she immediately gave rage. I was a GC for years and I’m not gonna put up a bullshit like this either. I’ll pack my shit up, terminate the contract and pay back any money that has not been specifically allocated to the work and you can go find yourself somebody else in contract yourself! Just because you’re paying me doesn’t mean you can talk to me from feelings! We are all adults! Try acting like one!
