My fv dating sim is Love and Deepspace. I love how it can be a save space or the mini games inside the game. I would wish they don't just listining to they CN players and more the glouble fans. (sorry if mu english is bad is not my first language)

My favorite dating sim is Dream Daddy for the variety of personalities to pick from, and a wonderful meaningful story. I also love when the player character has their own personality and character, instead of just being a self insert. I think what’s lacking in the dating sim scene is the games having stories beyond the dateables just being hot. Congratulations and you’ll do great! 🥰

Mystic Messenger was definitely one of my favorites. I played through a couple times to make sure I was able to get all of the story because I loved the care that went into everything. Boyfriend Dungeon and Date everything also have me loving the obscurity of dating sentient objects with amazing puns based on what they are object wise

I am a LADS girl (unfortunately) and I don’t play a lot of dating sims but the other one that comes to mind is date everything I LOVED how silly it was and really value when a game can balance the silly stuff but also kind of inspire you to feel good about yourself

Has to be mystic messenger. The texting part is cool but I think what I really like about it is how involved it made me feel in the overall plot of the game. I like there is an actual story going on the characters have their own stores and relationships too outside the main plot. Plus the events of the story keep developing even if u show up a lot or little. That made me want to show up and be apart of it because it felt real and by extension the characters mostly feel like real people to me as well. And that brings me to question two which is games that treat the romance as part of the story not the story.

for the second question: queer identities tend to be lacking. mostly I've found that I have to play as a woman, sometimes it's a man. I would love the freedom to choose the gender I play as (especially if there was a non-binary option)

Our Life: Beginnings & Always, it is dating sim and visual novel and i just absolutely adore it, as you see different stages of your character and the one you want to romance up to your adult life and it's just sweet honesty. 💕 I just love heart-melting moments and there can't be enough of those 😭. And even more, i love that there's a representation of autism there. I think such representations just make it come even more alive, people feel more seen and comfortable with something. Sadly I can't think of something that i would say is lacking but will come back to it, if i think of something! 💕

I really love a date with death, honest for the vibes - I really love the chat feature as a medium other that just clicking through convos regularly. Smth I wish I saw more is like… different personality answers that’s not just being super nice or an asshole😂 also female love interest options….
