@ranelittle: DAY 34 I don’t think any of us could have imagined that we would be here today. One of Halo’s biggest milestones has been learning that she can breathe and maintain her oxygen levels without supplemental support. Today, she went the entire day on room air. No extra oxygen. Just her, breathing on her own. When I think back to where we were only a couple of weeks ago—especially the terrifying day Halo coded—it’s hard to believe how far she has come. We were having conversations that I never imagined I would have to have, and there were no guarantees about what the future would look like. The doctors couldn’t promise us that she would get to this point. But Halo did. She fought her way through every scary moment, every setback, every difficult day, and somehow she keeps showing us just how strong she is. I couldn’t be more proud of my little girl. She has been so incredibly brave through this entire month, and watching her take these steps toward coming home means more to me than I could ever put into words. 🤍 #fyp #foryoupage #viral #trend #raredisease
