My favorite sign my parents ignored was the pillow bike spinning I’d do for HOURS for over a decade. I don’t stop until I was like 20 😐

Pediatrician told me when my son was barely a year and a half. I was in denial and offended because all my research told me that you couldn’t diagnose at that age. Anyone want to read the research paper my 9 year old just wrote about structural engineering of skyscrapers? 🤣

I saw the signs in my grandson before he was two. we got him evaluated at 18 months he received early intervention. He is now 13 and in the 8th grade and thriving.

My son did this for the first two years of his life! Now he does it when he is really tired. But at age 2, he put a hole in my wall🤦🏼♀️did NOT like the cushions. But his pediatrician wouldn’t listen to me so he’s almost 5 and not diagnosed but I’m curious

the only unfortunate part is when he's sitting on your lap and YOU are the back of the couch 🥲. like, thanks, bud. I did not need my sternum at all for any reason. ribs are optional

I clocked my son having ADHD when he was two. People kept telling me that boys were just like that. No, boys are always hyper, THAT was ADHD. Anyway, he’s 7 now, currently being diagnosed.

"Its just a boy thing!"
Thats why most kids (especially little girls) go undiagnosed and suffer, cuz their own PARENTS dont even concider seeing someone who can say if it is autism or not

you guys know that this isn't the reason he got diagnosed right? that she's only showing an example of what made her take him to do tests right? right?
