sounds like it could be one of the cats. and that cat happened to have the bacteria that is found in their mouth. I deal with thus all the time at the bird rescue in work for and I also almost lost my finger as I was in the er 10 hours after my cat drew blood and never had anything swell that that big nor that fast

Sounds like “scratches” and it can look like a scrape and turn to cellulitis

I swear some thoroughbreds are super prone to this. Ive only seen it on thoroughbreds. one tiny scrape and suddenly a massive infection. Literally just a scratch, not even a puncture.

why is a puncture wound so bad in a horse? I have heard you mention puncture wounds before. ior is a matter of where the puncture is? I just imagine outside they get small nicks and stuff all the time jist being animals
