📩 Send this to a friend who loves growing plants! 💚 🌿 Coleus Regrowth Method 1. Start with a healthy, established Coleus plant. 2. Prune the upper growth using clean scissors, leaving healthy nodes and lower growth on the original plant. 3. Remove any flowers before using the harvested Coleus material. This allows the plant to focus more energy on vegetative growth. 4. Cut the healthy stems into smaller sections, making sure the pieces you intend to propagate contain at least one viable node. 5. Spread the prepared stem sections over a fresh, light and well-draining growing medium. 6. Lightly cover or press the nodes into the substrate so they have good contact with the growing medium. 7. Water gently and keep the substrate consistently lightly moist while the cuttings establish, but never waterlogged. 8. Place the planter somewhere warm with plenty of bright indirect light. 9. Over the following weeks, viable nodes can develop roots and begin producing fresh shoots. 10. Once established, gradually increase the light to encourage compact growth and stronger Coleus coloration. 🌿 🌱 Pro tip: Healthy stem sections with viable nodes are the key. Individual leaves or random chopped pieces without nodes won't reliably produce complete new Coleus plants.
