I’m self employed and I saved 6 months of expenses, plus 3 months of income to cover maternity leave. It was a lot; but I’m really grateful that I did it! No stress with taking maternity leave

Doing this on a much smaller scale. I waitress part time, and I only cover groceries and insurance. I've been picking up extra shifts throughout my pregnancy to save up 6 weeks of groceries and insurance money so we don't have to touch savings when I go out with our second baby.
