Wait I actually think it’s better to put my company first so they see it clearly on their calendar….

EAs can literally get you that meeting with their executive or remove you completely from their calendar. Be respectful of them!

EA here and you are 💯 correct - if you are not nice, my executive knows and if that person needs my help - bottom of the pile!

The kickoff meeting tip is so real. I cannot explain how many times I’ve been in a meeting where the organizer doesn’t do anything with the meeting ??

I always put the other company second for virtual meetings so it shows my company first on their calendars! I actually find it annoying when glancing at my schedule, but wondering if that’s wrong now!

Here is my take on this, in the email, always put the females email addresses first, make the men wonder if they have under estimated the ladies in their company. Meeting invite, add your company first so it shows who the meeting is with in their calendar. Else it will look like they have internal meetings. When they open their calendar they see who the meeting is with.

Former EA now a senior PA and all of these etiquette rules apply. As for calendar invites I always put our organization first as a courtesy to the external client.

Yes yes yes!! All great tips. Also learning the art of staying quiet if you have nothing productive to add. Nothing I hate more than people who just talk to talk to be seen😅

Order should always be alphabetical. Doing it by seniority is tacky and gives boot licker.

I have one - don’t assign a task at 3:48pm to your coworker if it’s due at 4pm 🤗🤗 thought I was going home on time today (RARE) and then I saw that lovely notification today 🥰🥰

hey :
I agree with putting the other company first in the invite, but mainly because it benefits me and my colleagues. I want to understand at a glance who I’m talking to /meeting with, without reading my company’s name every time
