Additional info from the national museum. Malalaman din natin na yung mga list of surnames na pwede lng pagpilian ng mga pilipino noon ay mga 'embarassing surnames' na kahit mga Kastila, hindi pipiliin yon.

To add lang din, if your surname is not on the list one possible reason is that from “established” family yung lineage mo they allow them to keep those surnames 😊
