it’s genuinely been easier to wake up for college. mind you i have to wake up EARLIER than i did for high school, and drive FARTHER and somehow it’s so much easier

I like to see it as a test of you as an adult. in high school, you were in a VERY controlled environment with basically no flexibility with assignments (at least in my experience), but in college you have more responsibility and obligations to complete your assignments YOURSELF + depending on your major, your assignments are more flexible and you have more room for creative expression. The workload is heavier in college, yes, but it doesn't feel as debilitating as high school because you KNOW that your opinion and creative take on things is what your college professors expect/want from you :)
